Main Ritual: Kindling the Light of Inspiration: A Solar Orphic Rite
Ritual Circle

In this ecstatic, participatory ritual, we will be exploring themes from the Orphic mysteries and the Greek Magical Papyri as we invoke the light of the sun, inspiration, and blessings of the season.

The Kansas City Sorcerous Arts Collective is a small group of experimental magicians working to improve the experience of public ritual and magical instruction in our local community. We have worked together for a decade, leading public rituals and presenting workshops.

Main/Closing Ritual: Forged by Fire
Ritual Circle
“Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing,
There is a field. I'll meet you there.
When the soul lies down in that grass,
The world is too full to talk about.
Ideas, language, even the phrase each other
Doesn't make any sense.”
~Rumi
Community. All of us. Sometimes harmonious. Sometimes dissonant. Sometimes easy. Sometimes hard. In this day, in this time, in this place - will you come and commit to do the work of community? Forged in fire. 34 years strong. Join us. Picnic Ritual Crew
