Hello!
Let's take a look at what we can astrologically expect during the 2025 St Louis Pagan Picnic.
Through awareness, we prepare to have a successful event, individually and collectively.
We begin the weekend with a sun and Mercury conjunct in Mercury's sign of Gemini. The two of them join Jupiter here, and with all of this activity present, we find this is a great day to chat, experience a variety of ideas, and indulge in our interests. The moon is in Leo, sextiling the Mercury sun conjunction, telling us playfulness is wise to engage in, and through this playfulness, we may find that good luck and good fortune come our way. Venus and Chiron are conjunct in Aries, and both are sextiling Jupiter, which tells us that through these conversations, we can find healing, particularly regarding love, creativity, and money. A Saturn Neptune conjunction in Aries gives us mental fortitude to achieve our goals (and don't overspend our
budgets).
Pluto retrograde in Aquarius is sextiling the aforementioned Neptune-Saturn conjunction in Aries, telling us that by staying grounded (but not boring), we can take the next step in our personal evolutionary tale. Plan extra time to arrive, though, as Pluto retrograde is opposing the moon in Leo late Friday night and early Saturday morning, so if you're in a hurry, you may find problems arise. Later in the day, the moon conjuncts Mars in Leo, so watch out for impatience and confrontation before close. As a matter of fact, six planets are in fire signs, and four are in air signs, and if you know basic chemistry, you know that air feeds fire, so while the potential is there for a lot of spiritual growth and insight, the potential is also there for tempers to flare, and speaking without thinking. Being accident-prone is something to watch out for as well, especially if you are rushed or distracted.
On Sunday, we find the Mars moon conjunction in Leo in full effect and the Chiron Venus conjunction in Aries. The sun Mercury conjunction in Gemini is starting to fade, telling us that you can still hang out and chat with friends, but you may feel more compelled to act rather than talk about it. On a technical point, the Venus-Chiron conjunction in Aries is trining the Mars moon conjunction in Leo, and the midpoint is Jupiter in Gemini. Essentially, this means you can find spiritual wisdom and growth through your conversations with others and the presentations you attend. Or, if you are presenting, you may find this is a good time to stand in the spotlight and share your message with others. This may require some extra preparation, but don't worry; you've got this.
Later in the day on Sunday, you may notice your temper is longer than it was earlier in the weekend, putting you in a position to process the weekend's events and what you have learned from them. Later Sunday is also a good time to plan for next year's picnic and how you will apply what you have learned from the weekend's experiences. What did you learn? How are you going to apply this knowledge in your life? How patient will you be when it comes to seeing results? Patience is more than a virtue; it is a way of life, especially when it comes to achieving your goals, whether they are professional, personal, or spiritual. When you're heading home, be careful, please. The later in the night it gets, the more opportunities for accidents and arguments are present, so it behooves you to focus on what you need to do to go home, apply what you've learned, and prepare for the 2026 St Louis Pagan Picnic!
I speak in broad strokes here because each chart is different, so how these influences impact you is personalized. Remember these celestial movements during the weekend, adapt when appropriate, and focus when necessary. While you're shopping and checking out presentations, also remember the greatest gem of all, the community. This is a community event, and this means service and participation. The St Louis Pagan Picnic is always looking for volunteers for various roles, and the merch tent will have many ways for you to show your support and gratitude. The best support you can give, though, is simply showing up and being there, and for that, I and the others on the planning committee thank you!
Blessings,
Bill
